The hotel provided great-sized rooms with all necessary amenities for a comfortable stay, albeit in need of updating and decorating. The service was friendly and responsive, making the experience warm and welcoming. The location offered a real 'pub feel' and was ideal for walks and exploring Wales, with lovely views and a delicious breakfast included. However, there is not much to do immediately around the hotel. The dining experience was good, especially with excellent scrambled eggs in the morning. Overall, a dated yet clean and comfortable stay, great for the price.
